How can I take care with fire?
Let’s begin with no illegal campfires. Contain your flame in approved fire pits and properly extinguish campfires. And no illegal fireworks. You just look stupid with that bottle rocket in your hand.
Don’t let your party go up in flames. And for the love of everything sacred, please think of the dry, drought-stricken forest and don’t flick your cigarette butts! Just don’t do it.
Why should I take care?
Most wildfires are started accidentally by illegal or unattended campfires, fireworks, or carelessly tossed cigarette butts. What?!? Please don’t be the spark that starts a wildfire in the Sierra!
